Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a Temporary Electrical Project Engineer (Construction) in Boise, ID to support a large-scale project. You will coordinate electrical systems, support startup activities, and ensure quality throughout construction.

Strong design interpretation, CAD/BIM skills, and site-friendly communication are essential. The role involves documenting, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with subcontractors and utility providers onsite, with flexibility for overtime as project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience on commercial/industrial construction projects.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specs.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Navisworks, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Support electrical quality control, project documentation, commissioning, and punch-list activities.
Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, structural, and architectural components.
Review construction drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change documentation.
Facilitate startup meetings and coordinate subcontractors, project teams, and utilities.
Track progress, maintain records, and prepare minutes, schedules, and reports.
Utilize BIM, Bluebeam, laser scanning, Revit, AutoCAD, and project management software.
Provide technical support to field teams and assist with startup and training.
