Job summary

Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC) is seeking a Coordinator/PM for Construction & Maintenance in North Fort Myers, FL. This role oversees power distribution and vegetation management, supervising contractors and internal staff, and ensuring on-time completion of projects.

The position requires extensive field coordination, risk assessment, and storm-response readiness. Full-time with rotating on-call duties, offering strong benefits and pension programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in ROW management and electric utilities.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and demands.
• Four years' experience in substation, meter and/or utility construction/operations.
• Seven years' Coordinator/Supervisor experience in power industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction/maintenance of transmission and distribution facilities performed by contractors.
• Maintain all construction/maintenance programs and procedures.
• Perform outage investigations and supervise contractor crews.
• Assist in bidding of projects and manage contract terms.
• Respond to storms and work long hours during emergencies.
