Orbital Engineering Inc. is seeking an Electrical Construction Coordinator for Northeast Indiana (Goshen area).

You will plan and coordinate construction activities for an assigned project within schedule and budget, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on site. The role requires coordinating with client project management, engineering, and on-site crews; reviewing plans, ordering materials, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
• Must be able to work well in a group and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to travel and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight to ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Participate in pre-construction planning and reviews; inspect site and verify permits.
• Manage RFIs and communications between client/project management and engineering.
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries; track inventory and shortages.
• Prepare Daily Log Reports detailing progress, safety incidents, and schedule adherence.
• Maintain redline drawings, conduct weekly safety audits, and coordinate scope changes.
