Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the successful execution of assigned projects on-site in northern Indiana.

Responsibilities include planning, contracting, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management (or equivalent) and a strong background in construction administration, with focus on on-site oversight and collaborative communication among owners,

Qualifications

• High level interpersonal relationship skills and strong communication abilities are required.
• Excellent organization and scheduling capabilities.
• Proficiency with computer systems and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare contract administration for assigned projects.
• Execute and direct project activities to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct on-site visits to oversee project layout, scheduling of materials, tools, equipment, and information.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and interact with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager, Project Manager, General Superintendent, and HR to review documents and direct field installations and project closings.
• Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
