Job summary

ICS Holding, LLC is seeking an Estimator to evaluate costs and resources for electrical construction projects in Florida. You will analyze project specifications and drawings to determine materials, labor, and equipment needs, and prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates to support successful project execution.

You will review plans, perform takeoffs, maintain cost databases, and collaborate with project teams to ensure bid competitiveness while identifying value engineering opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of estimating experience or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: develop accurate estimates for electrical construction projects
• Analysis of Project Documents: review drawings and specs for component quantities
• Material and Labor Takeoff: quantify materials and labor hours required
• Cost Database Maintenance: maintain pricing data for materials and labor
• Pricing and Bidding: prepare breakdowns and assist in bid meetings
• Value Engineering: identify cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality
• Risk Assessment: assess risks impacting cost, schedule, and feasibility
• Documentation and Reporting: keep records and generate estimating reports
• Collaboration and Coordination: work with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders
• Continuous Learning: stay updated on codes and estimating practices
• Perform other duties as required by leadership
