Job summary

Stryker Electrical Contracting in Florida is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to lead the estimating process for large-scale commercial and industrial projects, from bid to contract, ensuring accuracy and competitive pricing.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of electrical estimating experience, be proficient with Excel, Word and ConEst, and able to manage multiple bid proposals while coordinating with the construction team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of electrical estimating experience.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Strong computer skills with Excel, Word and ConEst Estimating Software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating process for large-scale commercial and industrial projects with electrical scopes up to $10,000,000.
• Develop complete and accurate takeoffs from project plans and specifications.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and RFIs.
• Clarify bid documents and prepare RFIs.
• Conduct post-bid follow-up, negotiate scope and pricing, and provide value engineering or scope modifications as needed.
• Work with vendors to obtain multiple competitive material quotes.
• Collaborate closely with the construction team throughout project execution.
• Create, manage, and track change orders.
• Maintain well-organized and accurate bid documentation.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Excellent communication skills with internal teams and external clients
