Job summary

Lvi-Associates in Maryland is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join the preconstruction team for healthcare, data center, and large-scale electrical projects. You will prepare detailed estimates, analyze drawings, and develop budgets to secure competitive bids.

The role requires collaboration with project managers, engineers, and suppliers, performing quantity takeoffs and preparing bid packages on time. Strong experience in electrical estimating and multiple software tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• Equivalentelectrical estimating experience also considered.
• Experience preparing detailed electrical estimates for large projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Analyze drawings, specs, schedules and bid packages.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for power distribution, lighting, low voltage, switchgear, generators.
• Develop conceptual, budgetary and hard-bid estimates.
• Produce value engineering recommendations and cost-saving alternatives.
• Coordinate bid deliverables with vendors, subs, and internal stakeholders.
