Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an Electrical Construction Administrator to support commercial building projects through construction. You will work with design teams, owners, and contractors to ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and quality standards.

Key activities include site visits, reporting, submittal reviews, RFIs, and closeout documentation. Travel to project sites is required, with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with experience supporting building or facilities projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management with construction-phase experience.
• Equivalent hands-on experience in electrical construction.

Responsibilities

• Visit construction sites to observe progress, quality, and compliance with project documents.
• Prepare site visit reports and construction meeting minutes.
• Review contractor submittals, project schedules, and construction documentation.
• Respond to contractor questions (RFIs) and provide design clarifications.
• Identify and report work that does not meet project requirements.
• Assist with pay application reviews, cost estimates, and change order evaluations.
• Participate in system start-up, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Prepare punch lists and review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and closeout documents.
• Support warranty reviews and post-construction activities.
