LJA Energy in Houston seeks a CAD Technician II – Electrical to produce and revise detailed electrical drawings for industrial facilities, including lift and pump stations. You will collaborate with designers and engineers in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of experience, formal AutoCAD and MicroStation training with certification, and proficiency with grounding plans, conduits, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional electrical drafting experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Knowledge of grounding plans, conduit & cable schedules, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Produce and revise detailed electrical drawings for industrial facilities.
• Coordinate with engineers and designers to update design packages.
• Apply drafting standards such as NFPA 70 (NEC) and API RP 500 to ensure quality and compliance.
• Utilize AutoCAD and MicroStation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage multiple drafting tasks under tight deadlines while adhering to client and company standards.
