Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical training in Mechanical Engineering, CAD tech, or related field.
• 3–5 years designing and documenting mechanical, structural, piping, or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Create mechanical, structural, and piping conceptual designs for liquid terminals and oil and gas infrastructure.
• Model, detail, document, and verify mechanical, structural, piping, equipment systems.
• Create 3-D models showing components with dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
• Ensure drawings meet quality standards.
• Analyze proposed changes for fit/interference and suggest solutions.
• Modify drawings and coordinate with engineers to resolve issues.
• Prepare Bills of Materials for design documentation.
• Use 3-D CAD, MS Office, and Outlook to support project work.
• Support design work with laser scan data; meet project deadlines.
