Frameworx Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Drafter for a 12+ month onsite contract in Slidell, LA / Hunt Valley, MD. You will create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for complex military ground vehicle systems, generate TDPs, and ensure accuracy through rigorous drawing checks.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced proficiency with 3D modeling and 2D drafting tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) and ASME Y14.100 engineering drawing practices.
• Experience developing/checking production-level TDPs; MIL-STD-31000 preferred.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, welding).
• Experience reviewing drawings, models, BOMs, tolerances for manufacturability.
• Familiarity with PDM/PLM; Jira knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication; cross-functional teamwork.
• Eligible for U.S. Security Clearance.

Aufgaben

• Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for production.
• Generate TDP drawings per MIL-STD-31000.
• Review drawings, models, BOMs for accuracy.
• Support mechanical structures and subsystems.
• Perform GD&T tolerance analyses.
• Manage documentation through PDM/PLM.
• Collaborate with engineers and shop-floor personnel.
