Job summary

JGMS seeks an experienced electrical engineering drafter to join our team on a multi-site program focused on designing, producing, testing, and delivering advanced training simulators.

The role requires CAD drafting of schematics, detail/assembly drawings, and material lists, with collaboration across engineering disciplines. DOE L or equivalent DoD Top Secret clearance is required or ability to obtain. Deadline: 10/1/2026.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor degree in design and drafting/electrical field.
• 2+ years of relevant drafting/engineering experience, or a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years electrical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update schematics and drawings using CAD to depict equipment/systems.
• Create/revise detail and assembly drawings from layouts per established standards (2D/3D CAD).
• Prepare lists of materials and perform other drafting duties.
• Work from engineering directions and collaborate with team.
• Research projects with product developers and apply latest drafting/design tech.
