AEP is seeking a CAD internship in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on using CAD tools to create and update 3D Inventory parts, assemblies, and 2D drawings, providing a foundation for a future engineering career.

Interns will work onsite five days a week and engage with multiple Autodesk products and Office software. You'll participate in developing and maintaining drawings and documents, gathering information from various sources, and performing calculations while adhering to AEP policies and

Qualifications

Must have completed at least one year toward associate degree in AAS CAD or related program.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsabilités

Create, revise and maintain engineering and record drawings, and sketches.
Support the creation, revision, and maintenance of facilities and equipment documents.
Obtain information required to perform work from verbal communication, sketches, marked drawings, listings, field notes, vendors’ catalogs and technical reference manuals and site visits.
Perform mathematical calculations required to accomplish assigned work.
Proficiency in Autodesk products - AutoCAD Electrical, Civil3D, Inventor, Vault.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software.
Read vendors’ prints, shop and other drawings and equipment operating instructions, and incorporate that information into the work being performed.
Demonstrate ethical behavior as outlined in the AEP corporate policies.
Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
