Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to develop and coordinate electrical models and drawings within BIM environments. You will work with engineers, project teams, and field personnel to ensure constructible, code-compliant designs and support prefabrication planning.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of electrical detailing experience and an Associate degree or equivalent in electrical design or drafting, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Evolve, and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and assists in resolving model clashes through BIM coordination processes.
• Applies project specifications, industry standards, and local codes to modeling work.
• Supports material take-offs and prefabrication planning activities.
• Maintains version control and documentation of design revisions.

Job Summary

Develops and coordinates electrical models and drawings within Building Information Modeling (BIM) environments to ensure constructability and accuracy. Collaborates with engineers, project teams, and field personnel to prepare detailed, code-compliant electrical designs. Applies knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes to assist with prefabrication planning and coordination.
