Job summary
Hilscher-Clarke is seeking a full-time BIM Modeler to join our Pataskala, Ohio office. You will develop detailed electrical BIM models using Revit, coordinate with teams, and produce accurate schedules and fabrications for ongoing projects.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is required, along with experience using BIM Collaborate Pro. Strong communication and data extraction skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks with ability to interpret construction documents.
- Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection using coordinated workflows.
- Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide modeling support in Revit on a day-to-day basis.
- Model electrical content including conduit, switchgear, panels, transformers, and fixtures.
- Create detailed 2D/3D models of electrical buildings and generate schedules using Revit.
- Resolve clashes saved as viewpoints by coordination leaders and coordinate with other BIM technicians.
- Extract information from Bluebeam markups and apply to BIM models.
- Export spreadsheets from Revit for prefabrication team and material lists.
- Assist in extracting site elevations from Civil files to ensure correct elevations.
