Job summary

Contractor Network in Lincoln, NE is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Coordinator to own BIM/VDC responsibilities and support safe execution, strong customer service, disciplined project controls, and profitable growth.

The ideal candidate has 4–10+ years in electrical BIM, VDC, coordination, or electrical construction, with Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD proficiency and proven teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to coordinate with architects, structural, mechanical, and field

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical BIM/VDC coordination and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Understanding of commercial electrical systems and installation practices.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and identify constructability conflicts.
• Strong technical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Field electrical or prefabrication experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate electrical BIM/VDC models for power, lighting, feeders, equipment, and supports.
• Participate in multi-trade coordination and clash-detection meetings.
• Coordinate electrical routing with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and fire-protection systems.
• Create installation drawings, spool drawings, layout information, and field-ready packages.
• Maintain model standards, file organization, naming conventions, and quality procedures.
• Work with project managers, field leadership, designers, and trade partners to resolve conflicts.
• Support prefabrication and model-based field installation.
• Track coordination status and communicate model changes.
