Job summary

Miller Electrical Contractors, Inc. seeks an experienced VDC Manager to lead BIM coordination and virtual construction for electrical projects. You will work with project managers, field teams, detailers, and customers to deliver accurate models and field-ready drawings.

The role requires strong Revit and Navisworks skills, a track record of coordinating multi-project BIM efforts, and a commitment to efficient field deployment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of VDC/BIM experience in electrical construction.
• Proficient with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with office, field, and customer teams.
• Understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and field coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC/BIM coordination across multiple electrical construction projects.
• Manage project models, coordination meetings, clash resolution, and deliverables.
• Oversee detailing resources and review Revit models, shop drawings, spool drawings, and layout files.
• Support field teams with constructability reviews, installation planning, and point layout workflows.
• Mentor VDC team members and help improve company BIM standards and processes.
