Job summary

Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, seeks an experienced BIM Lead Coordinator to manage BIM processes for electrical systems on construction projects. You will oversee 3D model coordination, perform clash detection, and ensure model quality and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in BIM coordination within electrical contracting or construction, with certifications preferred. Leadership and mentoring of junior staff are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of BIM coordination experience in electrical contracting or construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design and installation.
• Experience in design-build or construction environments is a plus.
• BIM certifications preferred (Autodesk Certified Professional, CM-BIM).
• Knowledge of prefabrication or modular construction processes beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, review, and coordination of 3D electrical models for projects.
• Lead clash detection and coordinate with other trades to resolve issues.
• Maintain up-to-date BIM models and drawings per standards.
• Serve as primary contact between electrical team and stakeholders for BIM.
• Ensure models comply with NEC and client specifications.
• Perform quality control on models and drawings for accuracy.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior BIM staff.
• Prepare coordination meeting reports and status updates.
