Job summary

RANDALL in Apopka, FL is seeking an Electrical Designer / BIM Detailer to support large commercial projects from our 100% in-office Apopka headquarters. You will model electrical systems in BIM, produce coordinated shop drawings, and support prefabrication and field execution.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years as an Electrical Designer or BIM Detailer, strong Revit (Electrical) skills, and solid NEC knowledge to ensure code-compliant designs across HVAC, plumbing, and architectural interfaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Electrical Designer or BIM Detailer on commercial construction projects.
• High proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical).
• Strong NEC knowledge and ability to apply local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail electrical systems using Autodesk Revit for large commercial projects.
• Develop coordinated BIM models, layout drawings, and electrical shop drawings for prefabrication.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection trades.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve clashes using Navisworks.
• Maintain model and drawing accuracy through project lifecycle and field changes.
