Job summary

Randall Construction is seeking an Electrical Designer / Detailer (BIM) to support large commercial construction projects from our Apopka, FL headquarters. This 100% in-office role involves creating flawless electrical system drawings and coordinated BIM models for prefabrication and field execution.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, strong Autodesk Revit (Electrical) skills, NEC knowledge, and a solid BIM coordination background.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer or BIM Detailer on commercial projects.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical) and NEC with local code application.
Strong BIM coordination, clash detection, and document interpretation skills.
Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and detail electrical systems using Autodesk Revit for large commercial projects.
Create coordinated BIM models, layout drawings, and electrical shop drawings for prefabrication.
Perform electrical layouts for power and lighting per contract documents.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection trades.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve clashes (Navisworks).
Support constructability reviews, prefabrication, and installation sequencing.
Maintain model and drawing accuracy through RFIs and field changes.
