Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Designer to join our team. This role develops detailed electrical models and drawings using BIM tools to support the design, coordination and construction of electrical systems.

You will collaborate with engineers, project managers and field personnel to ensure coordinated, constructible designs. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in electrical design in BIM/VDC, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks, and knowledge of NEC/NFPA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical design and drafting in a BIM/VDC environment.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Navisworks; Bluebeam or similar software is a plus.
• Understanding of NEC, NFPA, and other electrical codes/standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D electrical models in Revit or Navisworks.
• Produce construction and fabrication drawings, including plans, sections, and details.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and other trade models.
• Update models and drawings to reflect design changes, RFIs, and as-built conditions.
• Collaborate with project engineers and field teams to ensure constructability and alignment with project requirements.
