Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an Electrical BIM Detailer in Kansas City, KS to translate electrical drawings into detailed Revit models and manage coordinated shop drawings for commercial and industrial projects.

You will review models in Navisworks, identify clashes, and help develop workable solutions through coordination meetings. This hands-on role connects design with field construction and ensures installations fit as planned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM modeling/design experience in electrical contracting.

• Experience producing electrical models and installation drawings.

Help electricians build from better plans. A well-established electrical contractor is seeking an Electrical BIM Detailer to create detailed models and installation drawings for commercial and industrial projects.

This hands-on role connects digital design with field construction. You’ll work with designers, project managers, and field supervisors to make sure electrical installations fit, coordinate with other building systems, and can be built as planned.

What You’ll Do

Translate electrical drawings and specifications into detailed Revit models.

Review models in Navisworks and identify conflicts with other trades.

Participate in coordination meetings and help develop workable solutions.

Create electrical shop drawings, layouts, and installation documents.

Keep models and drawings current as project requirements change.

What You’ll Bring

2+ years of BIM modeling/design experience in electrical contracting.

Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.

Knowledge of electrical systems used in commercial or industrial construction.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Experience producing electrical models and installation drawings.

A practical, detail-oriented approach to coordination and problem-solving.
