Job summary

Jobot is seeking an electrical designer/drafter to develop and maintain 3D electrical models using Revit and Navisworks, and to produce detailed drawings for construction and fabrication. You will clash-check systems and coordinate with architects, engineers, and field teams to ensure constructible designs.

The role requires 2+ years in electrical design, familiarity with NEC/NFPA codes, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical design and drafting.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Navisworks.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models using Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Produce construction and fabrication-level drawings including plans, sections, and detailed layouts.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and MEP trades.
• Update models and drawings to reflect RFIs, field changes, and as-built conditions.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure designs are accurate and constructible.
