Job summary

AlphaX is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support electrical construction projects across healthcare, institutional and large commercial settings. You will build and coordinate models in Revit and Navisworks, resolve clashes with other trades, and produce accurate drawings for prefabrication and field installation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM coordination experience in commercial electrical construction
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks required
• Direct experience modeling and coordinating commercial electrical systems
• Experience participating in clash-detection and multidisciplinary coordination meetings
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and design documents
• Understanding of electrical installation methods, construction sequencing, and field workflows
• Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain coordinated commercial electrical models using Revit and Navisworks
• Participate in multidisciplinary clash-detection meetings and resolve conflicts with mechanical, piping, structural, and architectural systems
• Produce shop drawings, installation drawings, layout information, and other field-ready construction documents
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, revisions, and project requirements for accuracy and constructability
• Support prefabrication and field installation through timely model updates and technical coordination
• Maintain BIM standards, project files, drawing records, and coordination schedules
• Communicate model changes and coordination issues clearly to project and field teams
