Job summary

Gaston Electrical is seeking a BIM Coordinator to independently transform architectural and engineering documents into electrical 3D drawings, ensuring clash-free coordination with other trades. You will create As-Built/coordination drawings in AutoCAD and Revit and work closely with the project team to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, reviewing shop drawings, and aiding prefabrication spooling for conduits and panels.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MEP coordination experience.
• Working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD to create/coordinate 3D models.
• Strong communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Analytical thinking to develop smart solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take architectural/engineering contract documents and create electrical 3D drawings for clash-free coordination.
• Attend project coordination meetings with subcontractors.
• Create 3D coordination drawings in AutoCAD and Revit with Sr. Coordinator and PM.
• Review shop drawings and clash reports to ensure full coordination of design content.
• Coordinate prefabrication spools for conduits, panels, etc.
• Support the team to meet deliverable deadlines.
