Job summary

LPI Global LLC is seeking an Electrical BIM & CAD Designer in Atlanta to support design, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects. The role requires advanced BIM modeling and CAD shop drawing development, with emphasis on constructability, model health, and data integrity across platforms.

You will produce constructible deliverables, support 4D/5D linkage when needed, and collaborate with architectural, mechanical, structural, and IT teams to ensure accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Advanced BIM modeling and CAD shop drawing development.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project goals.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure design intent alignment.
• Support BEP implementation and data integrity across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and model electrical systems in BIM at appropriate LOD.
• Create CAD shop drawings and 2D documents aligned with BIM data.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from CAD/BIM models for estimates.
• Review and coordinate with vendors for compatibility.
• Maintain BIM content libraries and naming conventions.
• Support clash detection and model health checks in Navisworks.
