Job summary

Qualifications

• AS or BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Three years or more of practical work experience in power distribution, motors, controls, and VFDs.
• Experience with HMI software programs and PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned theory and lab classes and plans daily activities for students.
• Instructs and evaluates students in electrical technology courses, including shop safety.
• Maintains a safe worksite and enforces safety standards.
• Assists in lab/classroom equipment maintenance.
• Assists in curriculum development, scheduling, budgeting, and hiring tasks.
• Participates in governance, committees, and student advising.
• Keeps current in electrical technology through available training.
