Job summary
Kelso Industries in Tempe, AZ, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead field operations on large commercial and mission critical electrical projects. Working with the Superintendent, you will coordinate electricians, apprentices, subcontractors, and vendors, manage safety, scheduling, and quality, and help ensure on-time project delivery.
Ideal candidates have 7+ years in electrical construction, experience as a lead or foreman, strong NEC/OSHA knowledge, and proficiency with Procore,
Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial/industrial electrical construction experience.
- Experience leading field teams as Lead Electrician, Foreman, or similar.
- Strong NEC/OSHA knowledge and construction best practices.
- Ability to read drawings, specs, BIM models, and one-line diagrams.
- Proficiency with construction management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Build, BIM 360).
Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations with the Superintendent on large projects.
- Coordinate electricians, apprentices, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain schedules.
- Review drawings and BIM data to ensure quality execution.
- Maintain safety culture and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Mentor junior staff and support project leadership to ensure success.
