Job summary

Accelevation LLC is seeking a Sr. Electrical Instructor to develop and deliver hands-on electrical manufacturing training that prepares team members for success on the production floor.

You will build curriculum, facilitate sessions, validate competency, and maintain training materials and records to ensure standards evolve with equipment and processes. You will lead on-the-floor coaching, coordinate with SMEs, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and training effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment required.
  • Previous experience developing and delivering skills-based training or on-the-job training required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of 480 VAC three-phase electrical systems required.
  • Prior experience assembling, wiring, testing, or troubleshooting electrical equipment required.
  • Ability to evaluate employee performance, identify skill gaps, and provide effective coaching and feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and functional teams.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and adherence to standard work practices.
  • Ability to effectively engage learners at various skill and experience levels.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Operations leaders and Accelevation Academy Learning Developers to design and develop electrical manufacturing training programs.
  • Build and launch foundational electrical assembly training courses for new manufacturing team members.
  • Facilitate recurring electrical manufacturing training sessions for new and existing employees.
  • Own and maintain electrical training content, continuously improving materials as processes, equipment, and standards evolve.
  • Conduct competency assessments to validate skill attainment and readiness for production roles.
  • Update training materials and curriculum to reflect changes in manufacturing processes, equipment, and standard work.
  • Maintain the Skills Lab, including training equipment, simulators, tools, and workstations.
  • Perform minor repairs and coordinate maintenance of training equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and learning documentation.
  • Provide on-the-floor coaching and reinforcement of standard work practices.
  • Partner with Group Coaches and subject matter experts to develop and improve Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
  • Deliver targeted training sessions to support production needs, process changes, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Your Impact

As a Sr. Electrical Instructor, you will develop and deliver electrical manufacturing skills training that prepares Accelevation team members for success in electrical assembly roles. You will play a key role in building the curriculum, facilitating hands-on training, validating competency, and reinforcing best practices on the production floor. Your expertise in electrical systems and manufacturing will help accelerate employee development, improve quality and safety outcomes, and support Accelevation's continued growth by building a highly skilled workforce.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Employees must be able to communicate effectively and work in both classroom and manufacturing environments. This role requires regular instruction, demonstrations, hands-on training activities, and movement throughout the production floor. Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands while demonstrating electrical assembly techniques and operating tools or training equipment. Employees may occasionally lift.
