Job summary

Powell in Ohio is seeking a capable electrical assembler to install and wire electrical devices, mount panels, and run conduit according to NEC and standard work instructions.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, ladder work, and working in tight spaces. You will contribute to safe, organized work areas and learn on the job in a team environment.

Strong English communication and basic math are required; prior manufacturing or electrical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings / specifications.
• Proficiency with common electrical hand and power tools.
• Basic English communication, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical devices including disconnects, lights, panels, transformers, and VFDs.
• Install conduit (EMT and rigid), wireways, and cable trays.
• Pull, strip, crimp, terminate wires and install wiring per NEC.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to safety policies.
• Work on ladders, overhead tasks, and in cramped spaces as required.
