Job summary

Powell is seeking a Conduit Assembler to install electrical systems in the Power Control Room (PCR) and ensure on-time shipment and delivery. This role involves conduit bends, layout, wiring, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of wiring experience in manufacturing, conduit experience, and basic math and English skills. The job is on-site with lifting and standing requirements in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of wiring experience in manufacturing.
• Conduit experience with thick and thin-wall conduit.
• Basic English language and mathematical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard conduit bends and offsets.
• Installs conduit and devices interior and exterior.
• Lays out and installs wireway/cable tray per design.
• Installs lighting and fixtures interior and exterior.
• Maintains tools safely and properly.
• Reads tape measures and interpreting prints.
• Works from standard conduit schedules.
• Wires, anchors, ties, routes, tags wires.
• Crimps and strips wire/cable.
• Follows manufacturing policies and quality processes.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized.
