Job summary

Power Design is seeking an assembler to support the assembly of electrical components, following drawings and work instructions, and safely using hand and power tools. You will learn safety, quality, and workmanship standards while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

The role emphasizes basic mechanical aptitude, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a willingness to learn. You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, with 1–4 years of manufacturing

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in electrical assembly.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills and accept feedback.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1–4 years of manufacturing, assembly, or trade-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic electrical components following drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Safely use hand and power tools.
• Follow all safety, quality, and workmanship standards.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications.
• Support senior assemblers and production team members as assigned.
• Accurately document work by completing production and quality forms.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination when working with small components.
• Identify color-coded wiring where required.
