Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Katy, TX is looking for an Electrical Prefab Shop Supervisor/Lead to oversee the prefab area, direct staff, and ensure timely project completion. The role requires directing others, managing multiple projects, and maintaining quality control.

Responsibilities include receiving and packaging products, staging for loading, loading/unloading trucks, and enforcing SOPs and OSHA standards. A Journeyman license and 4+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years or more related experience and/or training.
• Journeyman Electrical License required.
• Basic computer skills. (Word, Outlook)
• Reading, writing and arithmetic skills
• Punctual and excellent attendance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• PIT proficiency, reach truck, order picker, "sit down" propane. Current certification a plus
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk , stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Stage product for loading
• Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged material is accepted in
• Assist Shop Manager with all active projects in the shop.
• Load product onto truck
• Unload materials from truck
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Adhere to all Processes
• Clean and maintain work areas
• Other duties as assigned
