Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Electrical Prefab Solutions Specialist. The role involves handling electrical construction tasks, directing others, and ensuring quality control while shipping products.

Opportunity to work in a dynamic team within the RDC/Branch location. Responsibilities include receiving and staging materials, operating forklifts, and maintaining safety standards in alignment with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical construction and ability to direct others.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Punctual with excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and package product for shipping.
• Extensive understanding of Electrical construction.
• Stage product for loading.
• Load product onto truck.
• Unload materials from truck.
• Work independently or lead a group.
• Quality control to prevent damaged product.
• Operate per SOPs and OSHA standards.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Working in our Electrical Prefab area. Proficient in all areas of electrical construction. Must have the ability to direct others and manage individual projects.

• Receive, verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Extensive understanding of Electrical construction.
• Stage product for loading
• Load product onto truck
• Unload materials from truck
• Must be able to work independently or instruct a group.
• Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged material is accepted in
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Adhere to all Processes
• Clean and maintain work areas
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3 + years or more related experience and/or training
• Basic computer skills. (Word, Outlook)
• Reading, writing and arithmetic skills
• Punctual and excellent attendance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• PIT proficiency, reach truck, order picker, “sit down” propane. Current certification a plus
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk , stand for long periods of time
• Long and varied hours required occasionally
• Ability to work mandatory physical inventory
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environment
• Ability to work in dusty conditions
