Powell Industries is seeking an Assembler to put together components and electrical units in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. You will follow engineering drawings and customer specifications, use a variety of hand and power tools, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and strict adherence to safety procedures. You will work with Senior and Lead Assemblers to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and compliance with ISO requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure including fractions to decimals and metric to imperial conversions.
• Basic knowledge of a variety of hand/power tools.
• Lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.

Responsabilités

• Build and assemble mechanical components for Switchgear and/or Breaker units according to drawings and specifications.
• Maintain and properly use tools to complete tasks.
• Perform in-process inspections and follow standard work instructions to ensure quality.
• Complete ship prep functions including splitting gear.
