Job summary

Powell is seeking an Assembler to join a manufacturing team. You will assemble components following blueprints and diagrams, using a range of hand and power tools in a temperature-controlled environment.

In this role you will perform in-process inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to ISO requirements. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, basic English, and ability to read a tape measure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure (fraction to decimal, metric to imperial).
• Basic English language skills, written and verbal.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble mechanical components per drawings and specs.
• Maintain and properly use tools; perform in-process inspections.
• Follow standard work instructions and identify quality risks.
• Complete ship prep functions including splitting gear.
• Promote safety and keep work areas clean and organized.
