Powell is seeking an Assembler to construct electrical units and switchgear in a temperature-controlled manufacturing setting. You will follow engineering drawings, operate hand and power tools, and participate in in-process quality checks to ensure adherence to specs.

Teamwork and a strong eye for detail are essential as you maintain a clean work area and support safety initiatives while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure with fractional/decimal conversions.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Lift up to 50 lbs with proper technique.

Responsabilités

• Build and assemble mechanical components for Switchgear and/or Breaker units according to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Perform maintenance and proper use of tools.
• Perform in process inspections; ensure quality by following standard work instructions and identifying risks to product quality.
• Perform ship prep functions including splitting gear.
• Promote a safety culture and attend safety meetings.
• Ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
