Job summary

Powell seeks an Electrical Assembler to perform bending, running, installing, and terminating electrical conduit in power control rooms. This full-time, on-site role follows a four-ten schedule: Monday–Thursday 5:00am–3:30pm in Houston, TX.

You will install devices, bend conduit, install wireway and cable tray, pull wires, terminate cables, and read drawings and tape measures while following NEC standards and safety policies to ensure quality and lean, organized production environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Basic English language skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations.
• Familiarity with electrical tools and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical devices such as disconnects, lights, panel boards, and transformers.
• Bend, run, and install conduit (EMT and Rigid).
• Install wireway and cable tray; pull and terminate wires.
• Cut, strip, and crimp wires; follow NEC standard work instructions.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety practices.
