Job summary

AST seeks an Electrical Assembler to support on-site and field operations, assembling and testing industrial machinery. You will read schematics, wire panels, and perform I/O checks while ensuring quality and safety.

The role involves traveling to client sites, collaborating with teams, and maintaining organized work areas. WA-based onsite compensation is offered with standard benefits; robust growth opportunities exist within a growing Life Science-focused company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working as an electrical assembler or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience in a made to order, engineered to order manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Quality conscious with the ability to meet productivity goals.
• Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough.
• Eager to cooperate with others with good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial machinery according to drawings and procedures.
• Wire electrical panels per schematics.
• Perform I/O checks on control panels and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Test machinery before shipping to customers.
• Travel to client sites for installation and repair.
