Job Overview
The Electrical Assembler I is responsible for performing basic electrical assembly tasks under close supervision, following established workmanship standards, engineering requirements, and safety guidelines. The role focuses on developing technical skills, maintaining quality and productivity expectations, and supporting team objectives through compliance, continuous improvement, and effective communication with leads and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Once properly trained and/or certified, perform specific tasks including soldering, hardware installation, and post coating.
- Under close supervision, inspect own work to ensure a quality product that conforms to workmanship standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications.
- Perform in accordance with productivity expectations to meet customer deadlines.
- Comply with all Raytheon Technologies rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance requirements.
- Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, as required.
- Participate in audits.
- Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications and complete trainings as required.
- Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates.
- Complete assigned tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description to support department objectives and develop individual skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
- U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens authorized to access information under this program/contract.

- Ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings.
- Ability to successfully complete training modules associated with job grade.
- Ability to follow assembly instructions.
- Ability to work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Intermediate computer skills for typing, navigating screens, and learning new software programs.

Pay & Hours
Pay: $21.00/hr + $1.00/hr shift differential for second shift hours worked, totaling $22.00/hr.
Hours: Monday‑Friday 2:00 PM‑10:00 PM (flexible start window). Training will take place from 7:00 AM‑3:00 PM for approximately 2 weeks.
Additional Information
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA guidelines. Candidates will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA regulation 14 CFR part 120 and 49 CFR part 40.
Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
