Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assemblers for a specialty electrical products manufacturer in Estherville, IA. You’ll help assemble high quality fixture whips and wire components in a clean, structured production environment. Weekly pay and a 2nd shift are offered, with temp-to-hire potential.

You will read labels, apply color codes, and use hand tools to assemble parts, while standing for most of the shift and lifting up to 50 lbs when needed. Training and safety standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate basic hand-power tools and pneumatic screwdrivers.
• Ability to insert wires into conduit following color-coded instructions.
• Ability to read and apply fixture whip labels.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand for 90% of an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, bundle, and package fixture whips following work instructions and quality standards.
• Read fixture whip labels and apply labels accurately to conduit.
• Insert wires into conduit based on specified color codes.
• Use ties, tools, equipment, and machines to secure wire leads.
• Stand at a workstation for the majority of the shift and operate assembly machines as assigned.
