Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an Electrical Assembler in Kenner, LA, to perform hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly of industrial laundry equipment on a full-time, temporary basis. The role requires reading diagrams, using hand and air tools, and maintaining safety and quality in a production setting.

Shift is First: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am–4:30 pm. Candidates should have basic assembly experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lb, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Prior mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience is required.
• Experience using hand tools and air tools in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated capability to learn job duties through on‑job training (O.J.T.).
• Ability to work safely and cooperatively as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Interpret basic diagrams, work orders, and assembly instructions to ensure proper installation of parts.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production progress or issues

Electrical Assembler

Automation Personnel Services is hiring an experienced Assembler for a manufacturer of industrial laundry equipment in Kenner. This role involves hands‑on mechanical and electrical assembly using hand and air tools in a production setting. The Assembler will build machinery and components according to specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are required. This position requires working both independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Pay Rate

$17.55-$20.35 per hour depending on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Thursday First Shift: 6:00 am until 4:30 pm.
