Aerotek is hiring an Electrical Assembler in Gilbert, AZ for a first-shift, contract-to-hire role. You will assemble and wire electrical panels, read schematics, and perform quality tests in a modern manufacturing facility.

This role focuses on electrical assembly and wiring of panels and related components in a modern, air-conditioned manufacturing facility. You will perform complex mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, ensure products meet quality standards, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment on a first-shift schedule.
Assemble and wire electrical panels and related components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Use crimpers, wire cutting tools, and other hand tools to cut, strip, crimp, and prepare wires and cables for assembly.
Execute complex assembly tasks, including advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies.
Perform final quality inspections and functional testing to ensure assembled products meet company standards and specifications.
Maintain inventory of parts and materials required for assembly and help ensure stock levels remain at optimal levels.
Follow lean manufacturing guidelines and contribute continuous improvement suggestions to increase efficiency and productivity.
Work on an assembly line and support production goals while meeting established deadlines.
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate work, resolve issues, and support a collaborative environment.
Work under pressure when needed to meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures in the manufacturing area.
At least 1 year of experience working on electrical components.
Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, including wiring, cables, and wires.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents, including engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications.
Mechanical assembly experience in a production or assembly line environment.
Proficiency in using crimpers, wire cutting tools, and other tools required to prep and assemble wires and cables.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to performing accurate, high-quality work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a dynamic team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines without compromising quality.
Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required during the shift.
Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination for precise electrical and mechanical assembly tasks.
Experience following lean manufacturing principles and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is a first-shift role, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There may be mandatory overtime on Fridays to meet production deadlines, and candidates should be comfortable with occasional additional hours when required. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, AZ.
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
