Job summary

East Central Electric, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to assist in installing and maintaining electrical systems for commercial customers. You will work under supervision to ensure safety and quality.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED; 1–2 years electrical experience preferred; must own hand tools; a valid driver’s license is required for travel. This is a traveling position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with vocational/technical training
• 1–2 years electrical work experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Must have own hand tools and toolbox (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Must adhere to safety policies and work requirements
• Detail oriented and able to work efficiently and neatly

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and repair of electrical equipment and fixtures
• Assist in installing raceway and cable tray systems
• Pull wire and conduit
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
