Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an Electrical Apprentice in South Amboy, NJ to assist licensed electricians with wiring, lighting, and control systems. You will support installations, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining a professional attitude and strong customer service on job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions on job sites.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Possess a valid driver’s license; reliable transportation preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with wiring, lighting, and control systems installation.
• Measure, cut, and pull conduit and wire using hand and power tools.
• Maintain and organize tools and work areas for job sites.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements on site.
• Support the installation team and communicate with supervisors.
