Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a registered apprentice to support day-to-day operations on utility-scale solar projects. You will work under supervision to assist with installations, troubleshoot issues, and support calibrations of electrical equipment.

The program combines classroom learning with hands-on training to prepare you for journey-worker certification. As an apprentice, you will travel for projects, follow safety protocols, and develop strong time-management and technical skills.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Willing to work long hours including weekends and travel full-time.
  • Some experience reading and interpreting plans is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate safety as a core value on the project site.
  • Willingness to learn electrical trade and follow instructions.
  • Receive, store, and protect project materials and equipment; report shortages or damage.
  • Assist supervisors with site logistics and electrical installations.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues under supervision.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to support installations.
  • Provide support to other Cinterra divisions as needed.
  • Communicate with customers professionally and courteously.
