Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Craft Intern at the Borger Refinery to gain hands-on experience in instrumentation or electrical work. Start date is March 2027, with a part-time schedule around classes, supervised by skilled craftsmen.

You will shadow experienced staff, learn safety and energy isolation concepts, and participate in daily meetings while developing craft skills in a real refinery setting.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Currently enrolled in an instrumentation or electrical program at an accredited college.
• Ability to read and understand English safety procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and support experienced employees following safety practices.
• Learn health, safety and environmental hazards and permit systems.
• Attend daily crew meetings and observe refinery craft work.
• Demonstrate cooperative participation and willingness to learn.

Skills

Legally authorized to work in the US

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Instrumentation or Electrical Associate/Bachelor's Program enrollment
