Job summary

CEC Facilities LLC in Cheyenne, WY seeks an Electrical Apprentice 1 to assist experienced electricians with basic installations, material handling, tool maintenance and housekeeping on a heavy construction site. This is a safety sensitive role requiring attention to detail and adherence to company policies.

The position requires a current Apprentice Electrical License, a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Requires basic mechanical aptitude and manual skills.
• Current Apprentice Electrical License is required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Helps in securing, relocating and organizing materials, small tools, and equipment from and back to appropriate storage areas.
• Keeps work area clean by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
• Keeps materials and tools clean and organized in an orderly fashion.
• Assists in pulling wire, lifting, hoisting and positioning materials.
• May operate hand tools and equipment under supervision of a Foreman or senior electrician.
• Digs trenches by hand tools.
• Assists in mounting and strapping.
• Assists in less complicated electrical installations under supervision.
• Performs other project related duties as instructed by supervisor.
• Meets attendance standards and complies with lateness/absence procedures.
