Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking an Electrical and Mechanical Technician to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic test systems in laboratory and manufacturing environments. The 6-month contract includes training in Allen, TX with travel to US/Canada for projects.

You will support electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and coolant systems, diagnose motion control components, document work, and adhere to ESD and safety procedures while collaborating with engineering teams.

Qualifications

Requires 2-year technical degree or 4 years of equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience with electronic test equipment in manufacturing or lab settings.
Able to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and coolant systems.
Hands-on experience using multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and common hand tools.
Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, procedures, and mechanical drawings.
Experience diagnosing motors, actuators, and motion control components.
Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues with remote technical support.
Willing to travel within the US and Canada for projects.
Capable of physical work including lifting and carrying ≥25 pounds.

A manufacturing and test equipment organization is seeking an Electrical and Mechanical Technician to support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic test systems in laboratory and manufacturing environments. This is a 6-month contract role based in Austin, Texas with initial training conducted in Allen, Texas. Travel between the United States and Canada will be required for project-related assignments.

This position focuses on keeping electronic test equipment operational through installation, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair activities. The technician will work across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and coolant systems while supporting engineering and manufacturing teams. The role involves hands‑on troubleshooting of motion control components, repairing facility and equipment‑related hardware issues, documenting work performed, and complying with ESD and workplace safety procedures.
