Job summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Technician to support the Aircraft Prototype Systems Division at NAS Pax River. A candidate should have basic electrical systems knowledge and be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, while adhering to safety regulations under pressure.

This SCA-covered role follows the McNamara–O'Hara Service Contract Act, with compensation aligned to the DOL wage determination for the contract and location.

Qualifications

• LEVEL 1 requires an associate degree or 2-year technical degree with 0 years experience.
• LEVEL 2 requires an associate degree with 1 year experience or HS diploma with 3 years related experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Must obtain IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification within 60 days.
• Knowledge of aircraft wiring procedures.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to repair, fabricate, modify and install electrical wiring harnesses and related parts.
• Perform soldering and use tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Communicate with project engineer/designer on task issues.
• Receive guidance from supervisor or engineer as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
